Morcom Building Inc. has been in business for over 50 years, with Terry Morcom being the company’s President for the past 12 years.  Morcom Building serves Central Virginia with our clients extending from Wintergreen to Smith Mountain Lake.From starter homes to luxury & vacation homes our motto remains, “Your satisfaction is our reputation”       We, & the sub contractors that we prefer to use, are known for the quality workmanship & honesty that we exhibit.  Morcom Building is a member of the Home Builders As­sociation of Central Virginia, (HBACV) as well as the National Association of Home Builders, (NAHB).  Terry Morcom is a past President of the Home Build­ers Association & will once again hold that honor in 2010. In addition to being a past President of the Home Builders Association, Terry is also a past regional Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Virginia, (HGAV).      In 1994, Terry was “Builder of the Year” for the local HBA & is a lifetime spike member of the NAHB.  More recently, Terry completed training as an EarthCraft of Virginia member & is proud to be a graduate of the (GBI), Graduate Builders Institute.     Morcom Building is a Gold Star Company and a member of the Lynchburg Cham­ber of Commerce, as well as the Better Business Bureau.      Morcom Building embraces “Green” principles & is experienced with environmentally friendly building practices. These practices include passive solar options, advanced in­sulation benefits, recycling materials, FSC wood products, energy efficient appliances, water reduction options, geothermal & other energy saving heating/cooling systems & responsible land disturbing practices.
